Courteney Cox - Dirt Cancelled

COURTENEY COX's controversial TV drama DIRT has been cancelled by network bosses at FX after just two seasons.

The second season of the show, in which Cox played a feisty tabloid editor, was shortened by the Writer's Guild of America strike, and viewer figures slipped to just over one million per episode, prompting the decision to axe it.

Cox made the announcement, telling TVGuide.com, "It just got cancelled."

But the former Friends star, who produced the show with her husband David Arquette, already has other projects in the pipeline. She says, "We?re developing all kinds of stuff right now. We'll be producing more stuff together, for sure."

Coldplay Frontman Chris Martin Walks Out On Interview

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has asked to leave during an interview on a BBC 4 radio show stating, "I’m not enjoying this," before returning a short time later.

Martin and drummer Will Champion spoke with host John Wilson about the band’s new album ‘Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends,’ when Wilson stated that it’s "particularly morbid."
"I wouldn’t agree with you there at all, no," Martin responded. "I’d say you’re journalistically twisting me into saying something I don’t really mean."
When asked if he has "an ongoing morbid fascination", the singer replies, "Well not really, no. I think it’s just that if you painted it always just a bright picture it wouldn’t be a real picture."
Martin adds, "But the word morbid is one which I don’t like that’s all… [The album's] more meant to be looking positively at that stuff. You know we’ve all lost some people and that’s obviously a bit of a downer, but most of the record is about the good things I think. I hope so anyway."
The frontman, who moves away from the microphone, cuts off the next question saying "I’m not enjoying this," and asks to leave for two minutes.
When questioned if he feels under pressure, Martin responds, "I just don’t really like having to talk about things."
The 31-year-old returns after a couple of minutes to vaguely answer the final question beofre the interview ends.

Eminem Prank Calls Ll Cool Live Live On Air

EMINEM poked fun at fellow rapper LL COOL J live on radio this week (begs09Jun08), when the WITHOUT ME hitmaker made a prank telephone call to the star testing him on his own lyrics.
LL Cool J was a guest on DJ Tony Touch's show on Sirius Satellite Radio's Shade 45 programme on Tuesday (10Jun08) when Eminem called in, pretending to be an unknown rapper from Miami, Florida called Jason.
He challenged the Phenomenon star to a game of Name That Tune, and started reciting line after line of several of LL Cool J's songs - all of which he guessed correctly.
He then rapped lyrics from his own single Lose Yourself - before revealing his true identity to a shocked LL, reports MTV.com.
Eminem then extended an invite to his rap peer, insisting he should visit his Detroit, Michigan home and hang out with his pals Dr. Dre and 50 Cent.
He said: "Listen, man, you got this relationship with Dre. You're cool with 50, so when are we gonna hang out? I got cable at my house, and the game is on."
