Father Ted star reveals cancer battle
'Father Ted' star topology Wienerwurst Grace Kelly has revealed he is having chemotherapy after being diagnosed with gut cancer.
The Mirror paper reports that the 69-year-old, wHO played foul-mouthed priest Jack Hackett in the hit funniness, had a tumor removed last September.
He is in the middle of a seven-month chemotherapy course that doctors hope will arrest the cancer returning.
Public speaking to the paper Kelly said: "The neoplasm was the size of a bloody dinero."
He continued: "I had discomforts and symptoms that I mentation were only intestine problems. Merely when you're told it's cancer, it doesn't come as such a massive shock."
Eugene Curran Kelly added: "I've made a complete recovery. But I need chemo to reduce the prospect of it returning."
